Ed Sims left the Air New Zealand

Ed Sims, group of international airlines, Air New Zealand general manager, will leave the company.

Air NZ said that after 10 successful years in this business, Mr. Sims has decided to pursue other opportunities. He left late this year or early next year.

Mr. Sims was the Air New Zealand in 2001 as vice president of retail division of the plane, packed with previous senior positions at Virgin Group and Airtours Travel, the largest operator in Europe, according to the company website.

In 2002 he was appointed Vice President of Marketing and alliances. He is currently nominated for the role in December 2003 with the responsibility of crew members and a fleet of international long distance and orientation program improvement.

The responsibility is expanded to cover all international operations, foreign sales and marketing activities, international cargo airport operations and sales business.
