Miraka Ltd bought the milk processing plant at $ 35,000,000

A plan of the company's milk processing plant near Taupo Maori is 35 million U.S. dollars of processing, the use of geothermal energy purchased.

Miraka Ltd. purchased the facility, daily capacity of more than 1 million liters of milk, from Germany-based Gea Process Engineering Process.

This herb is also an acceptance of milk, evaporators, spray drying and storage of gunpowder residue, and is expected to open in August 2011.

Mokai plant is 30 km northwest of Taupo, using electricity from geothermal power plant near Tuaropaki. Recycling plant to 60 gigajoules per day of waste heat.

Gea also develop the capacity of the channel itself, the process to milk the dairy industry in the country and open Waharoa Wanganui North Island and South Island and South Island Awarua Synlait Dunsandel.

Miraka is a joint venture between the institution and the Wairarapa Moana Tuaropaki Ltd.
